Registration is open for 2nd round of Lifted Thursdays – music stress management project.
Lifted Thursdays is a 2 year music stress management project funded by the Youth Opportunities Fund at Ontario Trillium Foundation for 10 youth/young adult participants per year, between the ages of 16-29 that are living on the margins and or involved in the criminal justice system.
This year participants registered in Lifted Thursdays, will have the opportunity to work on creating a trailer video with our Creative Director, Kimberly Miller Pryce (Award winning Film Maker).
The goal of Lifted Thursdays is for youth/young adults to strengthen supportive relationships with their peers, adults and service providers. As well identify triggers and learn how to use music on their playlist and other healthy coping skills to manage stress, while having access to resources beneficial to meeting needs identified during the project.
Food and tokens will be provided. An honorarium will be provided to registered participants that complete the project.
